Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the Phoenix Academy!  This is an exciting time!

The Phoenix Academy is a uniform academy. Our academy colors
are a tan shirt, navy bottoms and black shoes. The tan tops should
be a polo style shirt. These tops can be purchased at Ideal on
Flatbush Avenue. They will stock the shirts with the Phoenix Academy
logo in both long and short sleeves beginning July 8, 2009.

Starting in September you will be able to axis a variety of information
on The Phoenix Academy web site. Just type in www.is285.org, and
then click on the Phoenix Academy link. This will give you a unique
opportunity to constantly be in contact with your child’s teachers.  
You will be able to get information about homework, projects, special
events and other academy news.

Finally, The Phoenix Academy will be entering the school and exiting
the school ONLY through the school yard entrance. That is the Tilden
Ave. side of the building.

We will keep you informed with all important information, due dates,
and events through fliers and our website.
